Windows 10 S and the problem for developers

So within the last couple of days.  Windows and Microsoft had a conference talking in regards to education with windows 10 and introducing windows 10 S.

Window 10 S is a good cheap OS for students, the problem (and the link will aid in my discussion) which Tim Sweeney (Big head honcho) for Epic and a few other big critics are calling it as a way to control a market and in the essence of games design restrict as a whole as to get programs on windows 10 S is only allowed via the store page and not installed independantly.

Tim who was one of the first, felt that this was a massive problem and restrictive for games design.  The following videos were released early February so this was presented uncomfortably and not very loudly.

Lately, after the latest announcement, it has kinda presented and shown what microsoft is wanting to do but they are going to really restrict developers in education if they want to push this... as Tim presented, no designer software and game engines are attached to windows 10...

My reflection on this...

I do not feel comfortable with this push from Microsoft as it's demanding designers to adhere to the ToS and also the more important part, you would have to add (as a software company) microsoft's input in your program for it to be able to be distributed on their website.  This is a silly idea and I hope Microsoft decide not to do this..
