MA AI Mechanics Design - Update - Current Position

Overall statement of current mechanic setup design

This is the current update to everything mechanically within the game.


Current Mechanic Update Situation: AI - Up to date at current point, can possibly progress further but will take a difficult time to progress with footprint detection / Body Mesh detection and a search motion at each patrol point for added effects. If I can make these work then overall, the AI mechanically wise is at the right point. Just to add monster effects and a monster design and it'll be effectively what i'm looking for for a predator at this stage. Which for one guy would be amazing!
Footprints - Footprints now make different sounds in different materials and have a duration before they run out, whilst with blood as dead bodies, it'll last on footprint for a couple of steps. Sounds also emit pawn sounds for AI to collect and use as stimuli. Now to make the footprints detectable by the AI would be amazing and overall the best effective hunting aid. Camera System - Works and sets via a target and goes to tablet in the players hands. Just to make animations instead of a flat image, the last thing is possibly a way to make the setting of the cameras more effective.

Enemy Camo Mesh - The Mesh is now up and running with a camo effect, it now makes it invisible with shadow effects deselected. So it makes no shadow effects on the ground.

Mic Input *New Plugin Addon*? - After having a brief cheeky thought, I researched into mic input within Unreal. After researching into it and looking in the forums, it is seen that there is no attachment within unreal 4.18, that said after speaking to a ex community manager for Unreal, he asked a colleague who confirmed that it will be attached to 4.19 which would make the initial idea more effective to exsist. In the mean time, a fellow games dev from Australia named Jayden offered a plugin for 4.17 that will allow me to use a plugin without the use of needing C++. I am hoping to get it working as if it works would not only be evil to the player but also a different way to get caught by the AI and to make it more immersive overall.
